Company History
Symplicity Corporation was formed in 1996 to address an information gap that existed between college recruiters and graduating students, beginning with a publication to highlight employers. As more colleges began to subscribe to the publication guide, it quickly became apparent that the information Symplicity provided was more appropriate as a web based tool for students and career centers. Symplicity continued to revolutionize the career services industry and quickly became identified with our moniker by making life much simpler for students and staff.
Other offices wanted in!
As our success in career services was highlighted at departmental meetings, circuit conferences, and campus yearly reviews, other departments within student affairs asked Symplicity to perform partnerships. Our partnerships are vast and now extend career services, judicial affairs, residence life, campus activities, admissions, orientation offices, event setup offices, and many others. The systems we provide are considered best of breed and can be deployed stand-alone or as part of a larger enterprise wide system.
Reaching more than 15,000,000 students each year, Symplicity is currently one of the largest providers of information about organizations that recruit on university campuses. We weren’t limited to higher education.
As we continued to deploy systems in higher education, Symplicity’s development ecosystem continued to advance. With the advent of SympleObjects (our technology framework) and past performance deploying large complicated systems successfully, Symplicity realized that the Federal space was a prime candidate for our cost saving technology. Now providing some of the largest and most frequently accessed systems on the web including FedBizOpps.gov, eSRS, and other procurement solutions, Symplicity has experienced unprecedented growth. Symplicity builds on this knowledge base to provide advanced information technology solutions to its government and commercial clients.
