The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) hired Symplicity Corp. to develop a new system for GSA’s Federal Business Opportunities Web site, fbo.gov.

Symplicity will configure its SympleObjects E-Business Framework, its Management Information System, and CSM product to deploy a best-of-breed e-Procurement System for the Government.

More than 28,000 buyers in 114 Federal agencies and more than 481,000 registered vendors publish and retrieve Federal solicitation information on fbo.gov, which is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Fbo.gov emails 500,000 messages daily to alert subscribers to new postings.
