The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (Board) is an independent Federal government agency with responsibility for the oversight of the Department of Energy's (DOE) defense nuclear facilities located throughout the United States. The Board is directed by a Chairman and four members appointed by the President. The Board’s mission as described by Public Law 100-456 is to ensure that the publics' health and safety are adequately protected at the DOE defense nuclear facilities.

Symplicity will work with the Board to deploy a Financial Tracking system that will enable the organization to effectively track its $24M budget.

Symplicity will configure its SympleObjects e-Business Framework to deploy a best-of-breed solution for DNFSB that will track the Board’s official accounting records (e.g., obligations, outlays, etc.) and record all relevant financial information.
