Jan 20, 2012 1:53 pm

Students at the University of Pennsylvania have enthusiastically greeted the new mobile version of PennLink, the institution's NACElink Career Services Manager (CSM) system. The application, which is available through smartphones, was released on December 15th, 2011. Prior to release, it was successfully tested by University of Pennsylvania Career Services on iPhones, iPads, Androids, and Blackberries.

A mobile version of PennLink has been on the wish list for UPenn Career Services for some time. Now that it has launched, many in the office, including Director Pat Rose, are hopeful that students will be able to benefit from on-the-go access to career fair information and interview openings. The goal of the PennLink mobile app is to expedite and modernize the job search process. Students now have the opportunity to apply for jobs, register for career fairs, and sign up for interview time slots with their mobile devices in real time from any location.

A constant goal at Symplicity is to regularly introduce dynamic product features to meet the ever-changing needs of career services offices, college students, and recruiters. NACElink CSM users are encouraged to follow Symplicity News for information regarding upcoming product features.
