With the year drawing to a close, the Symplicity team is looking forward to a successful 2019 and looking back at some of our greatest accomplishments of the year. This three-part blog series highlights this year's efforts to provide the most innovative solutions for student success and become a strategic partner for universities to deliver positive employment outcomes.

This February, we released Symplicity Curated Job Feed, a new job feed service that we’ve created exclusively to drive new relevant, in-region job opportunities from across the United States to our career center clients. Our revolutionary technology scans through hundreds of thousands of jobs from sources outside our clients’ employer network and delivers a weekly feed of new opportunities for entry-level job seekers. The goal with Curated Jobs is to help our client schools drive higher levels of student engagement by increasing and diversifying the types of opportunities posted on their CSM job feed.

Over the summer, we also re-launched our new mobile application – Symplicity Jobs and Careers – to provide the best career search and job fair experience for students. The new app will help our clients to engage more students and increase post-graduation outcomes. Our data has shown that the rate of student users returning to the new mobile app is more than double compared to web users. By meeting students where they are and providing them with a fun, branded, and personalized career journey, schools can guarantee student success and become the premier job board destination.

“The recent enhancements to our employability platform are focused on delivering the best employment outcomes for students. We're more than just a job board - we connect students with the right opportunities from day one, helping them develop career skills and obtain the work experience needed to land a full-time job after graduation."

CSM Product Manager

Another effort designed to help schools boost student engagement was the addition of CSM Pathways – a brand-new feature that enables career offices to set up career plans within their CSM system for any segment of students. Anything from general career planning, to completing a certification or receiving an employability award, career offices can create plans for their students and easily measure the success of these plans in the system. With Pathways our clients can guarantee their students are taking the right steps to go from college to career.

Last but not least, this October we launched our recruiting solution - Symplicity Recruit. Symplicity Recruit is designed for employers to elevate our clients’ employability program by allowing them to recruit from our 800+ university network and run targeted recruiting campaigns to get the attention of qualified and career-ready candidates. Symplicity Recruit ultimately benefits both employers and candidates by helping students stand out to recruiters and giving employers visibility into an institution’s employability practices.

Stay tuned next week to learn how we continue to expand our capabilities to support client experience, and create more opportunities to collaborate and enhance our network.
