Jake Acton proudly serves as Lead Client Manager for Symplicity, specifically supporting the Advocate and Residence solutions. His team is responsible for ensuring client success when it comes to utilizing Advocate for student conduct, Title IX, CARE, BIT, and behavioral management. Jake has a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Michigan State University and graduated from Albion College for his bachelor’s degree. Prior to joining the Symplicity team in January 2013, Jake worked in higher education/student affairs for ten years, primarily in residential life/housing and athletics, at institutions such as Western Washington University, Washington University in St. Louis, and Alma College. Currently located in Tucson, AZ, Jake enjoys seeing the country by car via road trips in his spare time. You can frequently find him visiting National Parks or baseball parks. Jake is always up for an adventurous hike!
