Michelly Peña joined Symplicity in 2023 as a Client Manager for Advocate hailing from Albany, NY. Michelly brings over 14 years of experience working in higher education in a variety of roles in residential life, orientation, student conduct, and Title IX working at the University of Albany, SUNY, most recently serving as the Title IX Coordinator and Director of the Office of Equity and Compliance. Her enthusiasm lies in assisting institutions to automate and streamline their processes. Moreover, she is deeply passionate about harnessing the power of data to empower staff. Michelly is a born and raised New Yorker from Harlem and has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Albany, SUNY. When she’s not supporting Advocate clients, you can find Michelly on a plane to a new adventure, at poetry slams, museums, concerts, or being a karaoke queen.
