Symplicity is pleased to announce the release of Accommodate and Access 8.0, arriving the week of December 1st 2025 with features that enhance both student experience and administrative efficiency.

Greater Visibility for Students

Students can now view the signature status of their accommodation letters sent to faculty. This new transparency feature displays each letter's details—including subject, course information, send date, and current signature status—directly in the Accessibility Letters section of the student interface. Institutions have full control through a system setting to enable or disable this feature based on their needs.

Streamlined Case Management

Following user feedback, we've introduced batch updating for the Case Status field. Accessibility professionals can now update multiple records simultaneously through the batch actions menu, making workflow management significantly more efficient.

Under-the-Hood Improvements

We've also updated ACC's underlying architecture to deliver improved stability, performance, and security—all without impacting functionality or requiring changes to how you use the system. ✅
