116 schools currently under investigation. More than $17 million spent by institutions between 2011 and 2013. A rise in complaints from 32 in 2013 to 102 in 2014. Ask any higher education professional: Title IX is a crucial topic for all institutions right now, and the stakes are high.

Earlier this month we hosted part I of our Title IX Webinar Series: How to Be Prepared: Hot Topics and Difficult Issues. You can sign up to view the recorded webinar here.

The series, which is presented by Symplicity and our partners at Crowell & Moring, aims to deliver key, relevant, and up-to-date information on everything Title IX—from exploring the basics and identifying major risks to establishing case workflows and best practices on campus. The series also parallels the release of our Title IX module in Advocate, our student conduct management platform, coming later this summer.

Part I of the series explored basic fundamentals of the Clery Act and its current climate, school requirements, exactly what is at stake for institutions, and perhaps most importantly, how schools can be proactive before an OCR inquiry.

Join us next month as we dive into best practices in managing the grievance process as it relates to investigation, resolution, and remediation. Attendees will also get a sneak peek of Advocate’s Title IX module, coming later this summer.

Due to high demand of the series, we encourage all those who did not attend part I of the series to watch part I and register ASAP for part II and III so you can catch up. We have seen a large increase in registrants and may reach maximum capacity for space.

Can’t make it? Be sure to register anyway (part II, part III) so we can send you the archived recordings and new resources like the FAQ document.
