Infographic: The Digital Transformation of CARE in 2020

A student’s academic and social wellbeing on campus were always important to institutions, but discussions on how to best support students became the main focus for higher education after the pandemic. In the remote learning environment, and with the higher education landscape changing rapidly, many institutions had to adjust their policies and best practices in order to support students in a virtual capacity. Symplicity Advocate clients were among those institutions, although their transition to virtual was greatly facilitated through the Advocate platform. As a result, Advocate clients saw the biggest increase in CARE cases in 2020 compared to 2019.

As we continue to write the next chapter of higher education, institutions must consider the impact 2020 has had on student wellbeing as that will inform how to improve the overall student experience, even after students return to campus. Symplicity is proud to partner with 350+ student conduct offices worldwide that are committed to supporting student wellbeing, during and after the pandemic. See below for the trends we saw in 2020 compared to 2019.
